California- Josh Cellars Chardonnay has aromas of apple, pear, vanilla, and butter. The fresh citrus and tropical fruit flavors blend smoothly with the creamy butter, vanilla, and toasty flavors of barrel fermentation.
Josh Cellars Chardonnay is a great balance of bright citrus and honey with a touch of oak character and hints of juicy peach. Crafted with care so that no single flavor overpowers another, this wine is simply delicious.
A delightful harmony of fresh yellow and white stone fruits lingers on the palate and finishes with fresh and clean acidity. The grapes for this Chardonnay were picked at optimal ripeness in the cool of the morning. After allowing to cold settle for 24 hours, the juice was fermented in oak and kept cold at 55°F to retain its lively aromatics. Once fermentation was complete, the wine was transferred to 30% new French oak and stirred on its lees, then settled and kept cold in preparation for bottling.
Josh Cellars Chardonnay is pairs beautifully with shrimp, steamed mussels, creamy pastas, roasted chicken, and grilled vegetables.
