All of the Discovery Series releases push the boundaries of whiskey innovation, but Series #8 takes the program to a new level with their most complex creation to date.
They start with an artfully crafted blend of Kentucky Bourbon, two Indiana ryes, and aged Canadian whiskey. They then add a custom selection of five oak staves that were created specifically to enhance the unique flavor of their original blend.
The staves provide nuances that range from French toast to vanilla to Rioja barrels (45% French Oak Double Toast / 25% Spice Rack / 20% High Vanilla / 5% Rioja / 5% Charred Barrel). The result is a celebration of innovation and a spirit bursting with flavor.
Aroma: Maple, dark chocolate, baked cherry, and toasted oak create a captivating.
Palate: Rye spice with luscious oak undertones that lead to a luxurious, long-lasting finish.
