
This hand selected, estate produced, single barrel tequila was bottled after nearly 10 years in a Tennessee whiskey cask. The obvious notes of vanilla & caramel are delightfully tempered by wet rainforest, cooked agave and mulling spices.
All of the barrels used in the Campo Azul aging process were previously used to mature at least 8 years of American bourbon or whiskey. These barrels are constructed of American white oak, and they repair them before using them at Campo Azul to get the finest results.
