Volcán de Mi Tierra Cristalino Tequila is a boundary-pushing expression from the Gallardo family and Moët Hennessy (LVMH) — produced at NOM 1523 (Agrotequilera de Jalisco), the only distillery in Jalisco with this single NOM designation for one brand. This cristalino takes the complexity of aged tequila and strips its color, creating a crystal-clear spirit that delivers the depth of an añejo with the visual purity of a blanco.
Made from a blend of añejo and extra añejo tequilas — the añejo aged in American oak whiskey casks, the extra añejo in European oak former cognac barrels — and then charcoal filtered to remove color while retaining key flavor compounds. The base is 75% lowland agave slow-roasted 44 hours in a mampostería oven, blended with 25% highland agave baked in an autoclave. A fusion of highland-lowland assemblage, old-world cask influence, and innovative filtration.

About Volcán de Mi Tierra
Founded in 2017 as the first tequila brand in the Moët Hennessy portfolio, Volcán de mi Tierra honors the volcano that erupted 200,000 years ago to enrich Jalisco's soil. The copper-highlighted Cristalino bottle references the copper stills used in distillation.
Best sipped neat to fully appreciate its layered complexity. An ideal introduction to cristalino tequila for fine spirits drinkers crossing over from cognac or aged whisky.
