Clase Azul Mezcal Joven Durango is made 100% from Cenizo Agave, which grows wild in the State of Durango, where the extreme climate, the rich minerals of its soil, and the source of natural springs in the area, give particular force and complexity to its notes, making it an entirely different mezcal than what is produced in the rest of México.
The underground baking process produces sweet notes of peanut, brown sugar, honey, ash, wood and chocolate. The fermentation process using stone piles and red oak, contribute to notes of ripened fruit. Clase Azul Mezcal is truly unique from beginning to end! The black matte decanter, inspired by clay pottery, is hand-carved by Mexican artisans and the colorful beaded cap is hand-crafted by artisans belonging to the Huichol culture.
