In order to make Cazcanes No. 9 Rosa Reposado Still Strength Tequila, they started with their Still Strength Blanco, which was placed in a Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, first-fill French Oak cask at 54% ABV. It was aged for 82 days and then bottled at 50% ABV or 100 proof.
This is a limited edition offering. This is the only batch that will be made this year.

What sets this tequila apart is its unique aging process. The 82 days spent in French Oak casks impart a rich, complex flavor profile that is both smooth and robust. The influence of the Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon casks adds a subtle hint of wine, enhancing the overall tasting experience.
