Buy Fuenteseca Reserva Extra Añejo 18 Year Cosecha 2003 Tequila — after eighteen years of patient maturation, this emerges as one of the rarest and most extraordinary aged tequilas ever produced. Crafted by Master Distiller Enrique Fonseca at NOM 1146, the spirit undergoes nearly two decades in oak barrels, developing remarkable depth, rich oak character, fruit, spice, and sweetness while retaining its distinctive agave origins.

Distilled in September 1995, Fuenteseca Reserva Extra Añejo is a rare expression that showcases the beauty of time and traditional tequila craftsmanship. Created from a blend of 75% copper column still tequila and 25% copper alembic still tequila, this exceptional spirit began its journey in 180-liter Canadian white oak casks previously used for Canadian rye whiskey.

Aged at 4,600 feet elevation in Atotonilco el Alto, Jalisco, the tequila spent six years developing its foundation before being carefully blended and re-barreled. A portion returned to Canadian white oak, while the remainder matured in 220-liter European dark oak barrels previously used for Bordeaux wine, allowing the tequila to evolve for more than a decade longer.

After 18 years of maturation, Fuenteseca Reserva Extra Añejo reveals an extraordinary balance of mature agave, rich oak, and layered complexity. Completely additive-free, this collector-worthy tequila delivers elegance, depth, and a long, luxurious finish that rewards slow sipping.

Rich and inviting aromas of cooked agave, vanilla, toasted oak, caramel, dried fruit, brandied pear, baking spice, and subtle herbal notes.
