The Lost Lore Hasta La Raíz Blanco Tequila is a limited-edition collaboration between Lost Lore and Hasta La Raíz — a non-profit organization founded by beverage industry veteran Jessica Salas that connects spirits makers with Freedom for Immigrants, an NGO dedicated to advocating for the rights of immigrants in immigration detention across the United States. Lost Lore is the first tequila brand to partner with Hasta La Raíz, making this release as meaningful as it is delicious.
A portion of proceeds from this release supports immigrant rights organizations in the U.S. The bottle comes in four distinct colorways — Orange, Yellow, Green, and Red — each featuring original label artwork by a Guanajuato-based artist, consistent with Lost Lore's tradition of bespoke, hand-crafted label design.
Like all Lost Lore expressions, this blanco is produced at NOM 1414 — the Vivanco family's multi-generational, estate-grown distillery in the Highlands of Los Altos, Jalisco — under the direction of Master Distiller Sergio Cruz. Mature 100% Blue Weber agave hearts are slow-cooked in traditional stone brick hornos, crushed via roller mill, fermented with Champagne yeast in stainless steel tanks, and double-distilled in copper pot stills.
