Nelson Brothers Sherry Cask Finish Whiskey is part of the brand's Cask Finish Series, a union of tradition and creativity in which select barrels of celebrated Nelson Brothers bourbon are enlivened by the aromas and flavors of the casks that host the final stage of aging.
For this release, the team selected Oloroso sherry casks to restore the robustness and character of true Spanish sherry. As the bourbon finishes in those casks, the results come close to alchemy — drawing out dark color, sweet notes of brown sugar, vanilla, and raisin, and a long, warm finish with a spicy bite that makes it irresistible.
