Old Fitzgerald 11 Year Bourbon Whiskey (Fall 2025 Release)
Each spring and fall, a new edition of the Old Fitzgerald Bottled-in-Bond Decanter Series is released. Inspired by an original 1950s Old Fitzgerald diamond decanter, the presentation honors both the storied history of the brand and the historic Bottled-in-Bond designation.
The Old Fitzgerald name is renowned for its exceptional distilling pedigree. First registered in 1884, the brand was later acquired by “Pappy” Van Winkle during Prohibition. Heaven Hill purchased Old Fitzgerald in 1999 and began producing it at Bernheim Distillery in Louisville, Kentucky. Today, its legacy continues through the coveted Old Fitzgerald Decanter Series and Heaven Hill’s other wheated bourbon expressions, including Larceny Small Batch and Larceny Barrel Proof.
About This Release
The Fall 2025 edition is an 11-year-old Kentucky straight wheated bourbon made from barrels produced during the fall 2014 distilling season and bottled in fall 2025.
Presented in the series’ ornate diamond-inspired decanter, this edition features the traditional black label reserved for fall releases. Its tax strip discloses the seasons in which the whiskey was distilled and bottled—a hallmark of the transparency associated with Bottled-in-Bond whiskey.
This release meets the strict Bottled-in-Bond requirements:
Produced by a single distillery during a single distilling season.
Matured in a federally bonded warehouse for at least four years.
Bottled at exactly 100 proof, or 50% alcohol by volume.
As the sixteenth national release in the Decanter Series, the Fall 2025 edition continues Old Fitzgerald’s celebrated Bottled-in-Bond legacy. Highly allocated and produced in limited quantities, it showcases the authenticity, craftsmanship, and refined character of Heaven Hill’s American whiskey portfolio.
Bright amber in color, this bourbon opens with rich sweetness accompanied by leather, subtle oak, and warm baking spices. Its rich, velvety palate reveals honey and butterscotch, followed by notes of plum, peach, and fig. The finish is warm and gently sweet, with lingering dark fruit and creamy milk chocolate.
